2nd Medical Oncology Department

Diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and compassionate, palliative treatment of all malignant neoplasms such as carcinomas, sarcomas, lymphomas, etc. High-tech equipment is used for diagnosis, such as CT, MRI, and PET scanners.
These treatments include chemotherapy, hormonal therapies, immunotherapies and targeted therapies, which are offered either in hospital or in the one-day treatment clinic. There is close collaboration with the Department of Radiotherapy.

In special cases we follow research protocols in collaboration with other centers in Greece and abroad, using new innovative medications. For palliative care, we use modern technology in collaboration with other clinics and departments. Young physician training is an activity of the clinic.
