HYGEIA: 3rd International Athens Shoulder Course 2019

All the new and innovative shoulder surgery techniques will be discussed during the 3rd Athens Shoulder Course, organized by the 3rd Orthopedic Clinic, HYGEIA Hospital, in Athens, from February 7 to 9, 2019.

The theoretical part will be hosted at the Royal Olympic Hotel, while the practice sessions will be held at the Athens University Medical School Anatomy Lab.

The event is multinational, as it is jointly organized with the Italian and the French Societies of Arthroscopy (SIA-SFA), under the auspices of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the European Shoulder Associates (ESA) and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS).

The Seminar aims to update and train Greek and foreign orthopedic shoulder surgery specialists on all the latest methods. The Seminar includes interesting lectures by distinguished Greek orthopedic specialists, as well as European and American shoulder surgeons, on all the issues currently occupying shoulder surgeons. It also includes live broadcasts of surgeries, with the aim of highlighting difficulties that may arise and how to manage them in real time. Lastly, it offers participants the chance to get acquainted with the latest arthroscopy and open surgery techniques for shoulder surgery through hands-on cadaver practice.
