Donation of fully equipped ambulance to the Elite Special Task Force Greece (Agrafa Branch)

As part of its extensive Corporate Social Responsibility program, HYGEIA donated a fully equipped vehicle to the Elite Special Task Force Greece (Agrafa Branch).

The ambulance was handed over by HYGEIA Board Member and Legal Division Supervisor Mr. Athanasios Papageorgakis in Raptopoulo, Evrytania on May 29. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms. Sofia Zacharaki, the Mayor of Agrafa Mr. Alexis Kardampikis, representatives of other authorities and bodies, and citizens, who thanked HYGEIA for its generosity.

The ambulance was donated with the aim of being manned by local volunteers, who will receive the necessary training to be able to respond immediately and effectively to emergencies and transfer patients to hospitals in the wider area faster, contributing significantly to improving the healthcare services provided.

A pleasant moment of contribution, cooperation and solidarity between healthcare units and local government.

Commenting on the initiative, HYGEIA Chairman and CEO, Mr. Andreas Kartapanis, stated, “The HYGEIA management and staff consider it our duty to make a contribution to Greek society and actively support the tough and valuable work of the Elite Task Force Greece, especially during these unprecedented and challenging times.”
