Andreas Vgenopoulos Postgraduate Internship Program by the Scientific Union of HYGEIA Doctors

HYGEIA Hospital, in partnership with the Scientific Union of HYGEIA Doctors, has established a Postgraduate Internship Program in internal medicine or surgical specialties, as well as scholarships for holders of medical degrees who are interested in enrolling in the Program.

The Program awards 14 scholarships and runs for 4 months. It caters for young physicians who wish to specialize in Internal Medicine or Surgery and intend to work as hospital doctors. It includes training within the internal medicine clinics, as well as the intensive care unit or the surgical clinics. It also includes Internal Medicine and Surgery tutorials taught by HYGEIA physicians and special training on imaging techniques.

At the end of the 4-month Program, each participant receives an attendance certificate and €1500 in financial aid.

Excellence Award

Each year, the Scientific Union of HYGEIA Doctors gives away an Excellence Award (monetary prize and commendation) to one of the younger salaried doctors of HYGEIA for their hard work, ethical demeanor.
