Educational experience:

• 2017-2024 (continuously while serving as a Consultant Breast Surgeon in NHS Hospitals London): Supervision and support of junior and foreign doctors seeking specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Clinical interest:

• Surgical treatment of breast cancer with emphasis on the treatment of complex cases; surgical reconstruction of the breast after tumor removal; postoperative monitoring and treatment.

Research interest:

• Prognosis and early diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer using histochemical markers.
• Participation in multicenter international studies, POETIC-A trial, BRCA DIRECT Study, ADAPT Study, Royal Marsden international trials.

• 2002: Best Scientific Performance Award, Department of Histopathology, University of Ioannina Medical School.
• 2016: Professional distinction, having been selected by the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, following an international competition, to further specialize in breast oncoplastic surgery and the treatment of complex cases.
