Professor Eleni K. Giamarellou receives the Hippocrates Award
Professor Eleni K. Giamarellou, Internal Medicine Physician/Infectious Diseases Specialist and Director of the HYGEIA Hospital 6th Internal Medicine Clinic, received a significant honorary distinction during the 19th Conference of the Hellenic Society of Internal Medicine December, 2015.
Professor Giamarellou received the 19th Hippocrates Award, which is presented to distinguished, internationally recognized physicians specializing in Internal Medicine and related fields.
The Hippocrates Award was instituted by the Hellenic Society of Internal Medicine in October 1995, on occasion of the 13th European Congress of Internal Medicine in Athens. To date, the Hippocrates Award has been presented 18times to internationally acclaimed European and American physicians
