HYGEIA: Corporate Superbrands Greece 2016
HYGEIA received the Corporate Superbrands Greece 2016 title, according to the international organization Corporate Superbrands.
Specifically, HYGEIA was recognized as Corporate Superbrands Greece 2016 in the Hospitals/Diagnostic Centers category. It was selected among 1500 candidates – the largest in the Greek market. Out of these, 280 were recognized as the top brands in Greece.
In the first phase of the competition, the companies were selected as Corporate Superbrands 2016 after a relevant voting session by a 20-member panel of experts. In the second phase, the general public voted through a survey conducted by a market research company.
The 7 leading companies per sector arose from the results of both voting sessions and received the Corporate Superbrands title. The criteria for this year’s selection included brand awareness & brand strength, reliability and consistency, and corporate responsibility in terms of the market, labor relations, society and the environment.
Superbrands is an international organization that was founded in the UK in 1995. Currently, it operates in 91 countries worldwide and has recognized more than 15,000 companies as leaders in their field. In Greece, the Superbrands initiative started in 2005. It rewards leading products or companies that operate in Greece. A company that has received the Superbrand status offers significant emotional and/or tangible advantages over its competitors, which customers want, recognize and are willing to pay a higher price for. A worldwide survey by Nielsen found that “74% of consumers who recognized the Superbrands name claimed to be much or more likely to buy products or services associated with the Superbrands Award Logo.”
