Hellenic Healthcare Group: Silver Medal in Corporate Social Responsibility from EcoVadis for the 2nd year running

The Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) was honored for the 2nd year running with the Silver Medal from EcoVadis (2022-2023), the world-leading organization for corporate sustainability ratings, for the socially responsible practices it applies in terms of responsible entrepreneurship, sustainability and sustainable development. 

The HHG, which serves as an example for Greek entrepreneurship, is always standing by people, offering leading and advanced medical services and cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment methods, while also designing and implementing initiatives that greatly promote Greece’s sustainable development. In fact, this award proves that the HHG’s social responsibility actions go beyond the Greek borders, firmly placing the Group among the top 10% of leading companies worldwide in healthcare services. 

The EcoVadis CSR rating measures the quality of the Corporate Social Responsibility management systems of each company, through the policies it has adopted, the practices it applies and its results. The assessment uses 21 criteria, based on international standards, such as the Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the ISO 26000 standard. More specifically, these criteria are grouped into four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
