9th Medical & Nursing Meeting – Information Management by Health Professionals in Modern Times

The 9th Medical & Nursing Meeting on “Information Management by Health Professionals in Modern Times” was organized on March 10, 2017.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by the Chairman of the HYGEIA Scientific Council, Mr Georgios Zacharopoulos, the
Director of the HYGEIA Nursing Division, Ms Catherine Panoutsopoulou and the HYGEIA Medical Services Director, Mr Savvas Papadopoulos.
The speakers included Mr Stergios Tasiopoulos, Mr Stefanos Lampropoulos, Ms Areti Papakosta and Ms Georgia Drakouli. They elaborated on key issues regarding information management by patients and health professionals, such as patient updates and training, patient rights and patient consent. Moreover, Mr Petros Papachristos, HYGEIA Group IT Manager, talked about access to electronic patient files and the upcoming changes in information management by health professionals.
