2nd Conference on Transcatheter Cardiac Valve

The 2nd Conference on Transcatheter Cardiac Valve Repairs was successfully held on May 17th & 18th, 2013. The topics discussed focused on Interventional Cardiology, as well as the latest developments in cardiac valve repair techniques. The main aim of the organizers – Dr Konstantinos Spargias, Director of the Percutaneous Valve Department, and Dr Stratis Pattakos, Director of the 2nd Cardiac Surgery Clinic at HYGEIA Hospital – was to talk about their experience in this field and disseminate their knowledge, so as to contribute towards developing surgical ways to treat cardiac valve diseases. The Conference was highly successful as it was attended by a large number of scientists.
