10th Hellenic Conference on Nuclear Medicine

The 10th Hellenic Conference on Nuclear Medicine was held successfully in Kalampaka, Greece, on September 10-12, 2010. The Conference formed part of the educational activities of the Hellenic Society of Nuclear Medicine & Biology. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee was Mr Vasilis Prasopoulos, Director of HYGEIA Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Departments, while many distinguished physicians and radiophysicists participated in the Organizing and Scientific Committee. HYGEIA Hospital was the official sponsor for the event.
It was the first time the Conference included international participants, with Serbian and Albanian doctors attending, while the guest speakers from Germany and the USA talked about cutting-edge technology issues. The three-day Conference aimed at updating both nuclear medicine doctors on the latest applications and technological developments in Nuclear Medicine, as well as internal medicine doctors (cardiologists, endocrinologists, neurologists and GPs) on the major applications of Nuclear Medicine in their respective clinical fields.
