Conditions of the aortic, mitral and pulmonary valve may now be treated percutaneously, without the need for major surgery. The latest developments in this field are impressive and as a result, it is now possible to offer treatment that otherwise would have been unfeasible.
These were some of the issues discussed during the Conference on Percutaneous Cardiac Valve Repair, which was organized at the N. LOUROS Conference Center, located within MITERA Hospital, on May 11-13, 2012. The Conference was highly successful, as it was attended by a large number of experts in various medical specialties.
