A Seminar on the Developments in Invasive Arrhythmology was held at the N. Louros Conference Center, located within MITERA Hospital, on June 12, 2010. The Convention was organized by HYGEIA Hospital’s Electrophysiology, Pacemaker and Defibrillator Department and was attended by a large number of participants.
The topics discussed included Interactive Relationship between Patient and Electrophysiologist for the Optimal Use of the Latest Implanted Devices, Modern Electrophysiology Theory and Treatment of Curable Arrhythmias, Risk Stratification in Sudden Cardiac Death for Cardiology Patients & Management of Contemporary Invasive Treatments.
The talks were followed by a discussion on interesting cases, with input from all the participating doctors. At the end of the Convention, Mr I. Papagiannis, Director of MITERA Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Clinic, made a brief presentation of the Clinic’s activities.
