The program “Rheumatology & Health” has an annual subscription and was created for patients with chronic rheumatologic conditions such as: rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, angiitis, ankylosing spondylitis, other autoimmune diseases, gout, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, etc.
The package includes:
- Five scheduled medical consultations at the Rheumatology Department of HYGEIA Hospital. Patients may also get free prescriptions during the consultations.
- Electronic prescription for medication and diagnostic tests by appointment, apart from the five scheduled consultations. Patients must also produce their national insurance health booklet upon request.
- Maintenance of a medical file and an electronic medical test file (for tests performed at HYGEIA Hospital).
- Free evaluation of test results relating to the disease (wherever deemed necessary) when the tests are performed at HYGEIA Group medical centers.
- Information pamphlets and instructions.
- Physiotherapy package at special rates.
- Medical packages for tests not approved by the National Organization for Healthcare (EOPYY) at special rates.
Exceptions:
1. Intra-articular injections and other invasive diagnostic or medical procedures.
2. Lab and imaging tests that can either be approved and paid via EOPYY with the patient contributing a percentage or be performed using the private-patient pricelist.
