The companies are assessed every year based on the National Corporate Responsibility Index (CR Index) and CRI Pass criteria. These are two internationally recognized systems that review, analyze and assess the performance of companies in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.
At this year’s event, hosted by the Corporate Responsibility Institute and supported by the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, welcoming speeches were delivered by Ms. Niovi Ringou, Head of the Representation of the EC in Greece, Mr. Christos Staikouras, Minister of Finance, and Mr. Vasilis Kotzamanis, Deputy Minister of Health.
Commenting on this new distinction, the Chairman and CEO of HYGEIA, Mr. Andreas Kartapanis, stated, “At HYGEIA, we are well aware that our responsibility is not just limited to those who place their trust in us. It encompasses the society, the environment and the entire country. We aspire for every benefit created by our operations, for every one of our actions, to leave a clear and positive footprint for all the more people. That’s how we have been perceiving development for the last 50 years. That’s how conquering the top acquires actual meaning.”
