Online Live Surgery Broadcast from 8 International Centers of Excellence: HYGEIA Endoscopic Surgery Center Among Them

The HYGEIA Endoscopic Paranasal Sinus & Skull Base Surgery Department is participating for yet another year in the 5th LION-ESS Global Broadcast (Live International Otolaryngology Network – Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery), which will take place on Friday 7 May 2021.

All interested parties may participate in the event free of charge through the online platform https://www.globalrhinology.org and watch selected surgeries that will be broadcast live, from 9am to 6pm on 7 May. Professor Christos Georgalas will be starting his live surgery broadcast at 9am Greek time.

Eight International Centers of Excellence are participating in the LION-ESS event this year from the USA, Spain, Italy, Australia and Greece, with leading surgeons:

• Richard Harvey – University of NSA, Australia
• Manuel Bernal – Barcelona University Hospital, Spain

• Paolo Castelnuovo – University of Insubria, Varese, Italy
• Zara Patel – University of Stanford, USA

The seminar moderators will be Ashok Rokade and Claire Langton, who will be located in Utrecht and will interact with the participants through questions they will be posing to the surgeons.
