Free Exam at the Pain Clinic

HYGEIA Hospital is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Pain Clinic and is offering a free-of-charge exam for a week.

The free exam is available to anyone visiting the HYGEIA Hospital website (www.hygeia.gr) or Facebook page (www.facebook.com/HygeiaHospital) from Tuesday February 7 to Friday February 17, 2017. Anyone filling out their details on the special form will receive an email with all the information on how to have the exam performed. The exams will be performed from February 20 to 24.

At the Pain Clinic, medical science has advanced towards offering specialized treatment of pain by physicians trained on chronic pain syndromes, pain related to neoplastic diseases, as well as post-injury or post-operative pain.

The Pain Clinic continuously works closely with all our Hospital departments and attending physicians – such as surgeons, orthopedic specialists, physiatrists, oncologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, internal medicine specialists, etc. – so as to offer patients comprehensive treatment, by implementing pharmaceutical, interventional or alternative treatments. It is also possible to receive support from a psychologist or psychiatrist, provided both patients and their immediate family consent. At the Pain Clinic, the physicians initially take down the patient’s medical history, perform a physical examination and review the imaging findings. They then propose an individualized treatment plan, tailor-made to address each patient’s specific problem.
