Endocrine Office

In the endocrine office patients with the following endocrine problems are evaluated and followed:

• Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
• Thyroid nodules
• Thyroid cancer (papillary, follicular, myeloid,anaplastic)
• Exopthalmus because of hyperthyroidism
• Calcium abnormalities (hypocalcemia and hypercalcemia)
• Diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2
• Gestational diabetes mellitus
• Adrenal insufficiency
• Adrenal adenomas (pheochromocytoma, hypersecretion of cortisol and aldosterone)
• Osteopenia and osteoporosis
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome
• Menstrual abnormalities
• Infertility (men and women)
• Gynecomastia
• Hirsutism/hair loss associated with hormonal abnormalities
• Pituitary adenomas (growth hormone hypersercretion, hyperprolactinemia, hypersecretion of thyroxine and cortisol)
• Neuroendocrine tumors
• Metabolic syndrome
• Vitamin D deficiency, B12 deficiency and syndromes of multiple endocrinopathies
• Weight changes (obesity and weight loss)
