2nd Educational Meeting Emergency Medicine

The 2nd Educational Meeting, focusing on Emergency Medicine, was held on Saturday May 21, 2011 and was organized by the Scientific Union of HYGEIA Doctors and HYGEIA Hospital’s Educational Committee.
The Meeting focused on Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine issues, such as caring for multiple-trauma patients, providing differential treatment to coma patients, and treating subarachnoid hemorrhage and allergic shock. Other issues discussed included acute peripheral ischemia, acute thoracic aortic dissection, treatment of neutropenic fever and a talk on adrenal gland deficiency.
The interesting talks gave rise to multiple questions and live discussions, which highlighted the value of such events.
