Modern CT Applications

As part of the scientific meetings on modern transverse imaging methods, the HYGEIA and MITERA MRI & CT Departments organized a one-day event on modern MRI applications. The meeting took place at the N. Louros Conference Center, MITERA Hospital, on October 21, 2017, under the auspices of the Hellenic Radiological Society, the HYGEIA Scientific Board and the Scientific Union of HYGEIA Doctors. Qualified imaging specialists presented the topics, while experienced clinicians provided further comments.

One lecture on whole-body MRI applications and 3 round table discussions took place as part of the scientific meeting. The round table topics included digestive tract, gynecological, prostate and central nervous system conditions.

A number of doctors, technicians, nurses and students attended the meeting. The event sparked the interest of the audience, as evidenced by the pertinent and challenging questions, which triggered constructive dialogue.

The organizing committee aims to continue its presentations on modern MRI applications through similar events, given the imperative need for continuous education on newly emerging imaging methods, which are considered powerful tools in patient diagnosis.
