Over the last 4 years, our Hospital employees have been collecting clothing and footwear items, linen, toys and books in good conditions, which they then distribute to various organizations and bodies, such as: municipal social services, the Elliniko Metropolitan Social Clinic, the City of Athens Homeless Shelter, the Asylum for the Interminably Ill, the Holy Temple of Ypapanti in Marousi, etc.
For a number of years, the HYGEIA Group hospitals have been supporting the blood drive actions, with their physicians and employees actively participating in the initiatives organized each year.

The HYGEIA Group employees organized a festive event in December 2012 to demonstrate their support and solidarity for the vulnerable social groups of the Municipality of Perama. Some 140 HYGEIA Group volunteers transformed the cold and uninviting conference room of the Town Hall into a festive and warm room for celebrations! They welcomed more than 500 people and offered them their love and a wide assortment of food and desserts they had prepared themselves. The children were entertained by a party entertainment team that had been hired by the Group. After the event, the municipal employees asked the Management if they could keep the Christmas decorations, which were naturally donated to them. The employees also distributed presents to the children, as well as milk cartons, juice boxes and tubs of yogurt, kindly donated by Vivartia, a member of MIG.
The HYGEIA Employee Union, Hippocrates, bought clothing, which was then distributed to the patients hosted at the Asylum for the Interminably Ill. 2013
On February 16 & 17, 2012, a team of HYGEIA volunteers gathered at the 1st floor of HYGEIA Hospital with their children. The aim of the meeting was for them to bring to life the walls of the offices where the Technical Support staff work tirelessly every day. So young and old picked up their paint brushes and spirits and set out to bring the walls to life, covering them with bright colors, mountains and oceans, flowers and cheerful messages. In no time at all, the volunteers managed to transform the offices into a pleasant environment, giving the employees yet another reason for inspiration and creativity, and filling them with warm emotions!
